There are various trails to walk around and about Lake Vyrnwy. Bikes are available to hire by the hour and enjoy a cycle ride around the lake. There are also Canoing, Sailing, Windsurfing and Fishing available on and around the lake. As well as the Annual Lake Vyrnwy Half Marathon.

 

The RSPB have a visitors centre and bird hides located around the lake with BBC spring watch filmed here in 2009.
